We all know that attempting to sing a Whitney Houston song is a big feat, let alone one of her top hits, “I Have Nothing”. The classic song is known for its hair raising high notes. It’s an emotional power ballad about love and commitment, something most everyone can relate to in one way or another.
At first glance, you have no idea the voice that is going to come from the unidentified young man approaching the karaoke stand at an outdoor party in Brazil. Once you hear the first few notes, everything changes as you realize you are in for an incredible next four minutes.
His rendition of this hit song from the 1992 romance film, “The Bodyguard”, was spot on. When he belts out the moving lyrics, “there’s no where to hide,” you’ll get goosebumps! He hits all the long, drawn out high notes with ease.
At times, this young man’s voice rivals that of Whitney Houston to a tee. He belts out the song in its entirety, to a stunned audience who begins to cheer before the song is even over! Once he is done, you see a huge smile on the man’s face as the audience applauds and cheers in excitement. It’s safe to say everyone in attendance was blown away and in awe of what they had just witnessed.
This classic has been covered by stars time and time again, and even on the hit show Glee, but this man’s rendition takes the cake! This clip was uploaded to YouTube on June 16th, 2015 and has more than 730,000 views and counting. The talent and gusto that this young man portrays is unquestionably amazing
